Low response over The Strand consultation in Exmouth
Only 79 members of the public responded to the consultation of the multi-million pound revamp of The Strand in Exmouth.
Hundreds attending the exhibition but fewer than 80 questionnairs were received.
The urban designer, Alan Stone, says he is actively seeking to engage with as many people as possible and is looking towards the younger generation through Exmouth Community College’s Youth Council, as well as other groups, such as the Rafa club and disability and access groups.
Devon County Council has allocated £2 million towards the final project with East Devon District Council pledging £1 million.
