A new community consultation is giving people the opportunity to have their say about what local organisations should be providing for communities in Teignbridge, and maybe win £100 in to the bargain. (From a press release)
The consultation, organised by the Teignbridge Strategic Partnership (TSP), is running until the end of October and could directly influence services provided in the future. As an added bonus anyone who returns a questionnaire will be in with a chance of winning a £100 voucher for a local retailer of their choice.
Previous projects carried out by the TSP as a direct result of local views have included starting rural exercise sessions in village halls, the creation of the Making It Happen small grants fund for local community groups, the inception of the Teignbridge Community Awards, and the provision of a new NHS dental practice in Newton Abbot.
