Mid Devon Council encourages people to attend firework displays that have registered with its voluntary scheme to improve standards of safety at local events

The scheme promotes ‘best practice’ at these events and encourages local residents and visitors to go to those firework displays that are properly organised and that have received essential safety advice from the Council.
Local events that have received the Certificate of Registration are:

•    Newton St Cyres Recreation Ground – Saturday 31 October, 7.30pm
•    Tiverton Rugby Football Club – Thursday 5 November, 7.30pm
•    The Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum near Crediton – Thursday 5 November, 7.00pm
•    Cullompton Rugby Football Club – Friday 6 November, 6.00pm
•    Magelake Sports Field, Uffculme – Friday 6 November, 6.00pm
