Plymouth diving world champion Tom Daley spoke to 40 sports development student at the city’s UCP Marjon.
With the students facing the sport and excellent part of their degree, it was an opportunity to discuss the balance between school, training and private life, as well as general sporting topics.
Third-year student Ashley Staines told thisisplymouth: “I thought the visit was great, a real eye-opener to Tom’s dedication and efforts so far.
“He’s a really honest, polite young man, with the determination to succeed in and out of the pool.”
