Surf’s up for British surf museum at North Devon’s Sauton Sands

The Museum of British Surfing could find a home on North Devon’s Sauton Sands.

The museum has grants of more than £33,000 from the Leader 4 programe and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’s sustainable development fund, according to Global Surf News.

It is hoped that a sustainable eco building will house the museum’s collection.

And there is a possibility to extend the Tarka Trail in partnership with sustainable transport charity Sustrans, so that people could cycle or walk between Braunton and Saunton.
