Mid Devon Council’s landlords’ forum for people thinking of renting their property
Mid Devon District Council and the National Landlords Association (NLA) will hold a Landlords’ Forum for anyone thinking of renting out their property.
The aim of the forum is to develop the working relationship between the council, local private sector landlords and managing agents to ensure that a supply of high-quality private rented accommodation is available throughout the district.
The council first set up the forum to explore how links can be developed with both new and experienced private sector landlords in the area.
Hedley Steele, Housing Initiatives Officer, said: “We recognise that being a professional landlord is not easy in a bureaucratic world where red tape seems to make it difficult to separate out the important issues. We want to work closely with landlords to see how we can help each other and develop a network of support that can help them run their own business, increasing housing supply and at the same time raise and maintain standards.”
The free event at Tiverton Football Club on Tuesday, March 8 will begin at 6.30pm. To reserve a place ring 01884 244601/2/3/9 or register at firstname.lastname@example.org
