US cosmetics firm to gets a Devon home
Leading celebrity make-up business, SeneGence International, from California, has picked a Devon business as its UK launch distribution arm.
Kingsteignton-based husband and wife team, Iain Tait and Christina Rabbich-Tait, applied to bring the brand to the UK over three months ago. They discovered they had won the bid in March, and have since set up SheerSense Limited to deal with the new opportunity.
Christina said: “SeneGence International, worn by top celebrities including Christina Aguillera, Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, is a top name in the USA.
“We are simply delighted to be bringing it all over to the UK, and even more delighted that SeneGence is keen to work with us from our Devon base.
“We hope that this can lead to more employment in the area as our own business grows, and will also provide opportunities for people to create additional income as we are now looking for part-time and full-time distributors.”
The official UK launch of the SeneGence range will be at Olympia Beauty Show, September 2011, but in the meantime, Christina and Iain, have ensured that Devon gets a special “head-start” on the range.
SheerSense will be holding training events at the Ten Tors Inn, Kingsteignton on May 16 and 17, for people to find out more about the SeneGence products, and the opportunities available.
Joni Rogers-Kante, the Founder and CEO of SeneGance, and author of the book “Million Dollar Lips” is making a special trip to the UK to deliver product training in May, and assist in the product preview at the Devon Show.
