Paignton Zoo is inviting children to run wild during the school holidays
Paignton Zoo’s Wild Week Summer School runs throughout August.
Paignton Zoo educator Catherine Addison said: “Each week is a fun-packed experience for children aged 8 to 12. They visit the zoo from 10am till 4pm each day for five days.
“This summer our plans include exploring the zoo and behind the scenes experiences. There will be a day running wild in the woods and an African art day based on our African animals – not forgetting the all-important train ride and ice cream!”
The price for the whole week per child is £100 or £95 for zoo members or siblings in the same family.
This year for the first time the zoo is offering a breakfast club and after-hours club for children attending Wild Week whose parents need to drop them off before 10:00am or pick them up after 4pm. The price is £2 per child per session – children will be supervised by members of the Education Department.
