If you’re looking for an award-winning cheddar cheese, then you need go no further than Devon-based Quickes Traditional.
The Quicke family have been farming near the village of Newton St Cyres for over 450 years. And 25 years ago Sir John Quicke and his wife Prue built the dairy, where John’s daughter Mary continues to produce cheeses today.
Their traditional unpasteurised cheddar won best traditional cheese at this year’s British Cheese Awards, which is just one of the selection of award-winning cheeses and butter produced at the farm.
