Relocate to Exeter film launched
Recognising the importance of attracting investment to Exeter to create much needed employment, the City Council commissioned Three S Films to produce a video encouraging businesses to relocate to the city.
The city has a good record in attracting new businesses to the city including the Met Office but in view of the economic climate and ongoing reduction in employment in the public sector there is no room for complacency.
Exeter has a great deal to offer a relocating business both in terms of choice of premises, business support and a lifestyle to attract business owners and employees. Representatives of the successful local businesses included in the video like Kate Connock of John Lewis, Michael Caines of Abode Hotels, Vanessa Cobb of ATASS as well as Professor Sir Steve Smith of University of Exeter.
The video can already chalk up its first success as the Cornish film production company of Three S Films has decided to set up a base in Exeter. There can be no better testament that Exeter is the ideal location for forward thinking businesses.
For Three S Films this pro-business approach has been a major draw.
Three S Films company director Mitch Adams said: “Working on shoots, we often need to work with the local authority. Exeter City Council have always been extremely accommodating. It is little things like that that give us the confidence to set up in Exeter.”
