Devonshire dog fed a Devonshire Diet wins the Devon County Show
The Devon County Show attracts thousands of visitors each year and this year was no exception. One event that always attracts huge crowds and hundreds of entrants is the Dog Show, where the winners from each breed category, then gains a position within the prestigious Best in Show. This year local resident Debbie Fenn certainly flew the flag for Devon, as her stunning Mid Golden Retriever Crosby proudly won the much sought after ‘Best in Show’ award.
The stunning Mid Golden Retriever whose pedigree name is Willsbrook The Hairy Biker at JanDeburn, beat off stiff competition to take the title and owner Debbie from Newton Abbot was quick to praise Devonshire pet food producers, Forthglade for playing a part in Crosby’s health and vitality.
Gerard Lovell, Joint MD of Forthglade who produce high quality natural pet food in the nearby village of Winkleigh, had a stand at the County Show and were touched when both Debbie and Crosby visited the stand to inform them of the win.
“We’re thrilled to learn that this beautiful dog won Best in Show and to hear how much he enjoys his natural Devonshire diet. It’s lovely to meet Forthglade fans at these shows and to see the effects of the diet on so many happy healthy dogs. Congratulations Crosby!”.
