Calling all young Devon artists! Dogs Trust Ilfracombe launches schools art competition
Dogs Trust Ilfracombe is inviting local schoolchildren to take part in a “Rescue dog art competition” to help make the rescue dogs’ play area more fun!
A winning artist in each year group – from Reception through to Year 6 – will be invited to come along to the Rehoming Centre in July and help paint their design on the fence which borders the rescue dogs’ exercise run, making play time more enjoyable and bright for dogs and staff.
If your school is interested in being involved, please contact Stacey Prosser, Dogs Trust Devon Education and Community Officer email@example.com.
Children can either design their own picture of a rescue dog or colour in a template picture provided by the charity.
All entries should be accompanied by the child’s name, age, year group and school. The closing date for entries is 26 June 2015 and entries should be sent to: Dogs Trust “Rescue Dog Art Competition”, Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, Hazledene, West Down, Ilfracombe, North Devon EX34 8NU.
