Three-night family-friendly New Year package at Thurlestone Hotel
Who says New Year celebrations have to be confined to just one night? The Thurlestone Hotel in South Devon is offering a family-friendly three night package filled with entertainment and activities for all ages, which is sure to see in 2016 with a bang.
Situated overlooking the dramatic coastline of the South Hams, the hotel has been owned and managed by the Grose family for almost 120 years, and has seen its fair share of lively New Year parties.
This year will be no different – arriving on December 30, visitors will be welcomed with a cocktail on the first night hosted by the hotel’s management and the Grose family.
Then over the next two days, a programme of entertainment includes a golf competition; kids’ entertainment including movie night, tea party with a clown, and magic show; and a grand New Year’s Eve gala dinner with a piper and followed by a disco late into the night.
There is even an opportunity to join an optional trip to Exeter Races on New Year’s Day or to a pantomime at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth (both at an additional charge).
In between activities, guests will be able to take advantage of the hotel’s excellent facilities, which include the excellent Voyage Spa – complete with indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, heat suite, fitness studio and range of pampering body treatments – as well as golf (weather permitting), and a choice of lounge and bar areas for relaxing in front of an open fire. The surrounding coastline also offers plenty of opportunities for walks to blow away the cobwebs on New Year’s Day.
The three night package is priced from £630 per person, based on two adults sharing on dinner, bed and breakfast basis, including all activities and use of the hotel’s sports and leisure facilities. For more information or to book visit www.thurlestone.co.uk or call 01548 650382.
