Exeter-based Equiniti Data begins recruitment drive as it announces a 25% increase in staffing levels
Equiniti Data (formerly Marketing Source) has expanded and opened a second office following the acquisition by Equiniti Group PLC and now a significant number of new roles have been announced.
The drive for new members of the team is a result of a broad expansion in the business to support recent growth and future plans. To accommodate the increase in staff, Equiniti recently opened Ada House, in Exeter’s Pynes Hill business park.
The company is in the digital technology market and is offering a range of new roles, from sales and account management to administration and consultancy, with 13 spaces to fill in total. This investment in facilities and staff demonstrates Equiniti Data’s commitment to developing its business in the Southwest.
Equiniti Data is part of Equiniti Group PLC, the FTSE listed FinTech and regulatory services business, and specialises in helping its clients make better decisions to acquire, on-board and retain customers. Alongside the core data business, the company’s expansion also includes the newly-formed Equiniti Cyber Security business.
Lisa McBeth, head of HR at Equiniti Data said: “Following Exeter’s recent recognition for being the fastest growing city in the UK, there’s a necessity for skilled jobs that underpin this level of development. We are very pleased to be a catalyst of jobs in the technology hub that’s now established in the city and we’re calling out for more talented professionals to join our team”
The new centre, Ada House is named after Ada Lovelace, who was widely considered to be the first computer programmer.
Guy Wakeley, CEO of Equiniti, said: “It is Equiniti’s ambition to grow its presence in Exeter, serving some of the UK’s largest financial services organisations from this regional hub and attracting tech talent to continue our development of ground-breaking technology. The centre will provide jobs and investment for the future with facilities for training, mentoring and development, including for graduates of universities in Devon.”
Equiniti Data’s technology and data resources enable companies to manage customer on-boarding, understand and enrich their core customer data assets, and increase customer engagement and satisfaction.
Through advanced data analytics and threat intelligence, Equiniti Cyber Security has developed a product suite that protects the life-cycle of data from anti-fraud counter measures to data protection and data monitoring.
