Exeter postal worker Phil Chadwick, who has worked for the post office from 25 years, went to Bristol to protest the Government’s proposals to sell off part of the Royal Mail, despite the protests being branded as an ideological battle.
Business secretary Lord Mandelson said that the ideological battle against privitisation threaten jobs and pensions, while Exeter MP Ben Bradshaw, who is also Minister for the South West called for a sensible debate.
