Farmer Philip Coaker, who has been promoting the message that meat production on Dartmoor helps maintain the scenery through his work with the Dartmoor Farmer’s Association has picked up a top award from Dartmoor National Park.
The awards, organised by the Dartmoor National Park authority, are aimed at those who have made a difference to to moors.
In second place was Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust, and third went to Hennock Primary School. And David Hannaford picked up a lifetime achievement award.
