The funding issues that could delay South Devon College’s expansion could be addressed by prime minister Gordon Brown.
During Prime Minister’s Question Tobay MP Andrian Sanders, asked: “It was announced that another 800 jobs have been lost in the South Devon area which is going to put more pressure on South Devon College which helps train people and help them back into work.
“Will he look urgently at the funding blockages that are preventing this outstanding college from expanding and helping some of these people who are losing their jobs?”
Mr Brown said he would.
