A new community centre, which will focus on excluded members of society, has won outline planning permission for its development in Torquay.
The plans include an urban rooftop garden to grow for vegetables for the cafe, and will use locally-sourced, recycled materials where possible has the backing of Torbay Enterprise Project, as well as Torbay Council, the Probation Service, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and the voluntary sector. And has already gained £750,000 of government funding.
