Cycle This Way, Teignbridge Council’s pedal pushing programme to give people confidence and encouragement to use the district’s cycles paths cracks into gear on Saturday, September 12. (From a press release)
Bikes, helmets and training are provided, and the whole course costs just £30.
Each week from Saturday, September 12 to Saturday, November 7 (excluding 26 Sept), those taking part will enjoy local bike rides with instruction from qualified trainers, starting in a traffic free environment.
Beginners sessions last from 9am – 11am and improvers from 11.30am – 1.30pm. Participants will meet each week at Devon Primary Care Trust in Collett Way, Newton Abbot, and will have the opportunity to meet new friends, build their confidence on a bike and improve their health.
