The world premiere of a new puppet show is to take place beside the sea in South Devon (From Living Coasts and Sea Fest).
The first public performance of Oshima and the Big Sea will be one of the highlights of the final weekend of Torbay’s Sea Fest. Sea Future, on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, will be held at Goodrington Sands.
Oshima and the Big Sea, described as an uplifting show, is a stunning piece of modern puppet theatre from Angel Heart Theatre of Totnes.
The free 50 minute show is for families with children aged four and over. It will be performed in a marquee on Goodrington Sands on Saturday, September 26 at 7.30pm, followed by a lantern parade on the beach. There will be limited space so people are advised to come early and bring blankets to sit on.
