Teignbridge Council is considering transferring key areas of open space and facilities is Dawlish to the town council
If approved, it would give the Town Council unprecedented control over The Lawn, Manor Gardens, Dawlish Water and Tuck’s Plot, along with management and maintenance responsibilities for play areas in Sandy Lane and Third Avenue, and a range of benches and seats throughout Dawlish.
The recommendations are made in a report published today, which will be considered by Teignbridge’s Executive, its key group of decision making Councillors, at 10am on Monday 5 October.
