A new report from Equality South West says black people in the region are under-represented in senior management roles.
Even though 4.9 per cent of people in the region are from a black or minority ethnic (BME) background, there are only 1.43 per cent BME managers in the public sector The results of the survey have prompted Equality South West to call for employers to examine their recruitment strategy and find out how that can improve their record.
