Mid Devon District Council is consulting with the public on how they would like to see the area of Amory Park, Tiverton used.
The area includes the Mid Devon Indoor Bowls Centre, an international standard BMX track and five football clubs, whose 500 members train and play matches on the sports field and hard court area on a weekly basis.
Tiverton Civic Society will be involved with the consultation regarding the heritage and background of the Park and the Natural History Society will be involved due to the inclusion of the River Lowman which is home to salmon, trout and otters. Groups which currently use the facilities are also involved in the consultation process.
Mid Devon Council has long-term ambitions to bring Amory Park to a standard which will make it eligible to apply for Green Flag status.
An “ideas” box will be available at the main Mid Devon Council office at Phoenix Lane, Tiverton during the week commencing Monday, October 12 (today) and ideas/suggestions can also be emailed to email@example.com
