There’s a chance for the people of Newton Abbot to find out how their communities are being made safer at a special roadshow next week.
The Community Safety Roadshow will be at to the corner of Queen Street and Courtenay Street in the town on Wednesday, November 4, between 10am and 4pm.
Run by the multi-agency South Devon and Dartmoor Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (SDD CDRP), the event will give residents and visitors the opportunity to chat with a Teignbridge Council community safety officer, a local police officer, a crime reduction officer and a fire officer, and find out what is being done to improve the local quality of life.
Visitors will also be able to raise any community safety concerns directly with the agencies which can help, and receive face-to-face advice.
