A Mid-Devon native who went stateside with her US husband has named the rooms in their hotel after Devon towns, according to South West Business.
Jennifer Frerdricks, from Chulmleigh, runs the Briar Lea Inn, in Maine, New England. It includes the Jolly Drayman pub, the Winkleigh room, the Chulmleigh room, the Clovelly room and the Exmoor suite, and sells Duchy Original Ale and Cornish pasties.
Jennifer said: “We have had a good deal of success and lots of Brits with second homes regularly come to visit for a taste of home.”
