The sale of Plymouth Citybus should be put to the public, according to Jack Dromey, general secretary of the Unite union.
He will raise the issue when he speaks at a meeting of Plymouth Citybus workers at the Citybus Social Club in Milehouse at 2pm today (Saturday, November 7).
Some 25,000 city residents signed a petition urging the council not to proceed with the proposed sale.
The council is expected to make a decision at a meeting on November 30.
