Newton Abbot school, Haytor View Community Primary School and Nursery, will have a new £400,000 children’s centre to provide a one-stop shop for services for children under five and their families, according to Devon County Council.
It is part of a multi-million pound investment programme by the council to develop 43 children’s centres across the county.
The school and centre will share the buildings and will work together to provide high-quality services to the community, some of which will be available outside term time.
It should be completed next spring.
