A new public consultation to help inform future housing growth and development in Teignbridge will be launched on Friday, December 11. The South West of Exeter Area Action Plan will help plan for housing growth in an area highlighted by regional planners as being a suitable location for development.
Work on preparing the action plan has started, and will be informed by public events and feedback opportunities throughout a seven-week consultation, 11th December – 29th January, focusing on how the growth can be best delivered.
Any new community within this area of Teignbridge would require a comprehensive range of support networks and services, such as schools and transport links. Teignbridge will be working alongside Exeter City Council, Devon County Council and Exeter & East Devon Growth Point to identify and explore development options for this area.
