Ashmoor Recreation Centre, near Ashburton, has been confirmed as one of the county’s top leisure facilities by independent accreditation scheme Quest, and is set to celebrate its 72 per cent score with a special 72-hour membership offer.
From 10am on Friday, February 19, for 72 hours only, new members can purchase an annual membership at 72 per cent of its normal price, saving up to £90.
Memberships can only be purchased in person at the centre, although people can also register their interest by phone at times when the centre is closed.
Although the leisure memberships must be purchased at Ashmoor Recreation Centre to qualify, once bought they can be used at all Teignbridge leisure centres throughout the year.
Ashmoor Recreation Centre was commended by Quest judges, who praised “a real commitment to continuous improvement” at the centre.
It is the second time in a row that the centre has achieved Quest Accreditation, which lasts for two years, and its new score is 6 per cent higher than the one achieved in 2007.
