Radio Plymouth will start broadcasting on Sunday, February 28, with a special two-hour show with station manager Tim Manns on its launch day.
It is one of the last to analogue radio stations to be awarded a licence by Ofcom. Test transmissions have already begun on 106.7MHz Fm. The station was awarded a licence in December 2008 after the previous licencee handed it back to Ofcom. It’s 65 per cent owned by the London Media Company
