Lib Dems from all levels of government will meet in Plymstock on Friday, 16 April 16 to set out their vision for Plymouth and the wider area, and how they plan to build economic prosperity.
Graham Watson MEP, Anna Pascoe (Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for South West Devon), Richard Smith (Lib Dem Plymouth City Council Candidate) will join Sima Davarian from Plymouth First to take part in discussions and take questions from the audience.
The meeting is part of an attempt to build a new approach to politics in the area that puts the needs of people and businesses in Plymouth above party politics. Plymouth First will work with politicians and the community to support innovative and creative local individuals, and attract investment into the area.
Euro-MP Graham Watson told the Devon Week: “People are sick of politicians squabbling and failing to get things done. When so many people are concerned with what the future holds, we need to work together to secure investment, jobs and prosperity to the area.
“Events like this present an opportunity to listen to the people who matter, and show that it is the Lib Dems who will help bring home the bacon.”
