Exeter City Council is encouraging families and groups to join the Exeter Scrapstore to make the most of the huge range of ‘scrap’ on offer – not that the materials available are scrappy!
The store provides top-quality recycled materials that can be used in thousands of creative, artistic and playful ways, all at low cost and affordable prices. And not only will you be saving money but you will helping Exeter reduce the waste it sends to landfill.
The store is located in Belmont Park in Gordon Road, Newtown and its new opening times are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11am to 4pm and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.
Kevin Mitchell, lead councillor for Community and Environment, encourages local people to visit this facility. He told the Devon Week: “The Exeter Scrapstore is an amazing place to go and each time you visit you never know what exciting new items will be available in the store.”
