On Sunday, May 2 two teams of Devon shire horses will be turning the clock back by ploughing and harrowing the fields of Ludwell Valley Park in Exeter during a free traditional rural craft event.
This family event will also feature birds of prey, a traditional ‘chair’ bodger, a hand sheep shearing demonstration and scarecrow building with the play rangers. Also make your own pizza in the portable wood-fired oven.
The day kicks off at 10.30am and runs to 3.30pm. Parking can be found along Pynes Hill, off Rydon Lane and follow the signs into the park.
