Paddling pools in Exeter will open to the public later this week in time for the summer holidays.
The pools in Heavitree Pleasure Grounds and St Thomas Pleasure Grounds will be ready for use on Thursday, July 15.
Both have had to be fixed because of a series of leaks but Cllr Kevin Mitchell, Lead Councillor for Environment and Leisure, said children would now be able to take full advantage of the popular pools.
“Every year, thousands of children, as well as Mums and Dads, have an awful lot of fun in the pools. When the sun shines the paddling pools are a great place to go, especially with the beautiful surrounding park land.”
The pools will be open to the public from Thursday, July 15 until Friday, September 10.
