Exeter plays host to the world number one brass band in a special concert being held in the city.
The concert, arranged by Devon County Council’s LDP Music Service, features the Cory Brass Band – officially ranked number 1 in the world and recognised as one of Wales’ finest and most innovative music ensembles.
The brass band is dedicated to new music and raising the profile of the brass band genre. In 2002 the band was selected to play for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and has since performed in many of the world’s finest concert venues including the Grieg Hall, Stravinsky Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham’s Symphony Hall.
Their accolades include World Music Contest Champions, European Champions, British Open Champions, Brass In Concert Champions and National Champions.
Cory Brass Band will be performing at the Salvation Army, Exeter Temple, on Saturday, November 27, for one night only.
