There’s a range of free activities suitable for all the family at Newton Abbot’s Decoy Country Park on Sunday, November 28 as Teignbridge Rangers host a woodland activity and craft day.
Woodland crafts on show include chainsaw demonstrations, turning wood on a pole lathe, hurdle making, and much more. Rangers will be on hand from 11am to 4pm to host lots of exciting activities.
The event is free, open to everyone and there’s no need to book, so people can just come along to lakeside at the Green Flag Award winning country park to watch demonstrations or have a go themselves.
Anyone with queries about the event can call 01626 215773 or contact senior ranger Simon Cunningham on simon.cunningham@teignbridge.gov.uk. More information about Decoy Country Park, including directions and more about its facilities, is available online.
