Devon County Council’s Library in Kingsbridge is encouraging people to become more confident in using computers and the internet while tracing their family history.
The library is offering free tutorial sessions in using online ancestry resources in a special event on Thursday, February 17.
Family History Online forms part of the UK Online’s national Go On – Get More Out of Life Online campaign which aims to inspire people to make going online their New Year’s resolution, and help them discover how using the internet could help them.
Twelve places are available across two tutorial sessions, which run from 1.30-2.30pm and 3-4pm so booking is essential. Library membership is not required to take advantage of this.
