Plymouth City Council is teaming up with sports clubs and venues across the city to host a number of ‘taster’ courses costing from a little as £1.50 a session.
Activities range from body combat, Tai Chi and fitness boot camp to trampolining, ‘octopush’ and golf lessons and a 10-week course starts from just £15.
The sessions are being subsidised by the council’s sports development unit as a way of encouraging people aged 16 and over to get more active and offer savings of up to 57 per cent off the normal cost.
