HRH the Duke of Kent is visiting Centek in Newton Abbot, on Thursday, February 24, touring the factory and being introduced to members of staff and civic dignitaries.
Centek is a Devon success story. Since starting operations in 2001, the company has been awarded the Queen’s Award for outstanding achievement in International Trade (2008) and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise (2009). Centek now employs 75 people.
Centek manufactures casing centralizers, which are used in oil and gas drilling to position pipes down the drilled hole prior to cementation.
