A brand new Food Fair will be launched at The Shops at Dartington in May.
The Dartington Hall Trust is collaborating with Taste of the West to launch a brand new Food Fair at its South Devon shopping village this May.
The event, a collaboration between The Dartington Hall Trust and Taste of the West, is taking place at The Shops at Dartington, formerly known at the Cider Press Centre, on the edge of the Dartington estate near Totnes.
The three-day celebration of locally produced, outstanding food and drink is also supported by Food and Drink Devon and Visit South Devon.
It will feature 45 stalls offering the finest produce, cooking demonstrations by local chefs in the al fresco kitchen, food tastings, competitions and three different restaurants. There will also be live music and entertainment and a host of family activities on offer, including a have-a-go potter’s wheel, picnic areas, face painting, a petting zoo, portrait painting – even mountain biking and abseiling sessions with Dynamic Adventures.
The food fair at Dartington takes place from Saturday, May 28 to Monday, May 30. Tickets cost £4 per day and can be purchased online on the Dartington Food Fair page. On-site parking is included in the ticket price and children under 12 go free, making the event a great value family day out.
