The evolution of the coast around the Teign will be one of the main themes at this year’s Teign Estuary Partnership Annual Forum on Tuesday, March 8.
This public event, at the Passage House Hotel, Newton Abbot features items on a new cycle route and bridge across the Teign, sediment movements, flood defence schemes at Shaldon and Teignmouth, scientific monitoring and the screening of a historic tourism film promoting the area in the 1950s.
The Forum is a free event offering an opportunity to find out about the activities of a wide range of organisations that work together to protect and enhance the coast and the Teign Estuary.

The tickets also include the opportunity to sample local fruit cordials and wine which have been sponsored by producers around the Teign and Associated British Ports based in Teignmouth.
