Devon County Council will take direct control of issuing concessionary bus passes from Friday, April 1. This also includes changes to companion passes and journey start times.
National bus passes will be valid for free travel throughout Devon all day on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays and from 9.30am to the end of service on week days.
Where there is no service between 9.30am and 11am, national bus passes can be used for free travel before 9.30am. This arrangement replaces the 9am start, which had been locally agreed by some district councils.
A list of services throughout Devon County Council’s area of bus operator networks (which excludes Plymouth and Torbay), is available on request from the Concessionary Bus Travel team on 01392 383688 or 01271 383688.
