Torridge and Teignbridge District Councils are carrying out a joint public consultation to find out what the public think of their services.
The councils have been sharing a chief executive for the past 12 months, saving the council tax payer over £70k in chief executive salary alone. They have also explore other ageist of joint working practices.
Now they want to ask the public if they think they are receiving good value for money in all of the front facing services provided by the councils.
In Teignbridge it costs £32.91 a year, per person to have refuse and dry recycling collected weekly, green and food waste collected fortnightly and to have the streets and open spaces kept clean throughout the year.
The surveys will be posted out, but you can visit www.teignbridge.gov.uk/consultation to complete it online or request a paper copy by calling 01626 361 101.
