Plymouth City Council’s regeneration team is working with housing association Affinity Sutton and residents on a campaign to improve recycling rates in the area. On Saturday, March 12 there will be games and prizes with a recycling theme and a dog show to promote responsible dog ownership.
The council team has been trying to raise awareness of the recycling dos and don’ts to prevent contamination of the recycling bins. Officers will be monitoring recycling over the next six months to see if rates are improving.
The event is being held from noon to 2pm on the green at Roberts Road, Barne Barton.
