The Devon Wildlife Trust is looking for 10 local people to help staff the helpdesk which will be run from its offices on Commercial Road in Exeter.
The organisation gets hundreds of calls each year and has run an ad hoc helpdesk for the past few years but now with a new £10,000 grant the organisation is looking to revolutionise the facility to help raise awareness of the work of the Devon Wildlife Trust and provide a better service to the public, including the creation of a drop in facility for people in the local area in search of advice.
Volunteers do not need vast amounts of wildlife knowledge, just enthusiasm and a willingness to commit to a day a week. Anyone wishing to help out should call 01392 279244 or email volunteering@devonwildlifetrust.org
