Trade waste, employer pensions and car parking were all topics for discussion as North Devon MP, Nick Harvey undertook a walkabout in Barnstaple Town Centre.
Nick, who made the visit after the Budget, was able to meet with traders to learn more about the issues facing small businesses and any good practice he could take back to government.
“During these difficult times, it’s important that the views of locals are taken back to Government” said Nick.
“Traders in Barnstaple are full of excellent ideas about how the Government can help, and I look forward to discussing them with colleagues to see how we can take them forward.”
Nick visited The Old School House Restaurant, Banbury’s Department Store, Underwood’s Surveyors and Catherine Bishop Jewellers.
