The Priory, a private retirement community in Abbotskerswell, is holding an open day and inviting those who are retired or about to retire to come and look round. Friends and family also welcome.
Visitors are welcome to pop in on Saturday, April 1 between 10am and 2pm to explore The Priory’s grounds and communal facilities that include a library, swimming pool and restaurant. They will also be invited to tour some of the available properties.
Guests can join in with social groups or activities and talk to existing residents to find out about retirement village life.
The Priory’s open day provides an opportunity for people who wish to know more about retirement villages to call in and see for themselves.
“We enjoy getting to know our neighbours so I am looking forward to welcoming visitors to our community,” said The Priory’s Village Manager Shirley Buckley.
“Deciding what to do when you retire is one of life’s most important decisions and we understand this.”
Shirley continued: “If you are thinking of moving to a retirement village then our open day is the perfect chance to come and find out more. I hope you can join us.”
