A recent quiz night organised by the Keyline Projects Team in Honiton raised a fantastic £1,117 for Prostate Cancer UK.
In excess of 90 Keyline staff, customers and members of the local community took part in the event at Luppitt Village Hall near Honiton and were quizzed on a number of subjects including general knowledge, sport and entertainment.
To boost the fundraising total, a raffle and auction took place with prizes kindly donated by many local businesses.
Bee Rogers, project team manager, said: “Prostate Cancer UK is Keyline’s chosen charity so we were keen to do something to support such a worthy cause. Staff and the local community really supported the evening, so a huge thank you to everyone that took part and helped us raise such a fantastic amount of money.”
All fundraising done by Keyline for Prostate Cancer UK will help the charity continue with its ground-breaking research so they can achieve their aim of stopping men dying from prostate cancer.
