Springfield Farm, Marwood is to host a Christmas event this week from Thursday 17 until the evening of Saturday 19 December. Times are from 4pm til 7.30 pm.
The event consists of a tour of the farm, decked out for Christmas, with a complementary hot chocolate and an opportunity to win some of the Farm’s produce and enter a North Devon Hospice raffle. Visitors will have a chance to meet the farm’s animals including the Emus and Marwood Valais Sheep.
Sibling Donkeys Bobby and Dizzy will feature at the event too, due to Bobby’s usual Christmas event being cancelled at St. Margaret’s Church, Northam.
The church are not able to hold their usual Christmas tree festival, where local favourite Bobby is usually a fixture, due to Covid restrictions, so it means he wouldn’t be able to visit the festival either but as they live at the farm the public can still meet them there and you can see them both in our video.
All COVID Regulations will be adhered to with hand sanitizer stations situated around the farm and a hand washing station at the end of the walk.
