South Devon Rural Housing Association (SDR) and Teignbridge District Council are celebrating the opening of a housing development which provides much-needed accommodation for people with learning disabilities.
Housing experts in the South West are joining forces at Sandy Park, Exeter on February 6 as they search for potential solutions to South West’s housing issues.
Private sector landlords are set to benefit from a Teignbridge-run training course which is aimed at helping them set up, manage and end tenancies.
A new public consultation to help inform future housing growth and development in Teignbridge will be launched on Friday, December 11. The South West of Exeter Area Action Plan will help plan for housing growth in an area highlighted by regional planners as being a suitable location for development.
While two councils have been rated as poor for their provision of housing services, East Devon District Council feel it’s being penalised for the success of its own service.
